Excursions and Forests

Our privilege location makes this lodge enjoyable for anglers and non-anglers.  The estuary  area and the surrounding hills can be covered in a day excursion either walking or riding enjoying the view of one of the most beautiful rainforests in South America.

Red myrtles, huge tepas (laurelia philippiana), cedars, coihues (nothafagus dombey), sacred cinnamon trees, lumas and mañío and other resistant and gracious autochthonous Chilean trees all growing among several types and sizes of ferns; thus forming a true botanic garden, rich in species, charming and exuberant.

In the middle of such vegetation you will be able to admire native birds, in a charming chat with the small streams that plow the forests.  You might also have the chance to see some of the evading animals of the Chilean fauna, like the pudú, the smallest deer in the world.
